Why Does My Child Struggle With Maths? It's Rarely About the Maths

Few subjects produce as much family stress as mathematics. Tears over homework, a child who freezes during tests, the dreaded phrase "I'm just bad at maths" — said with such certainty that parents start to believe it too. Often the response is more of the same: extra worksheets, another tutor, more drilling. And often, nothing changes.
